We had a great time. Weather was not the best but Julian caught his first fish. I caught a 6lb catfish on light tackle and we had the time of our lives with a fantastic lunch with fantastic people. Thanks Kay and Stan. Can't wait to do it again soon.

So, I journeyed out to Nacogdoches, Texas for a long overdue visit with an old friend. He set up a fishing trip on Lake Nacogdoches with the best Fishing Guide I've ever had the pleasure of fishing with: Stanley Gresham. IMHO a guides job is to put you 'on' the fish - and he did that in spades.
We decided to go after the wily crappie and we had a blast!
We caught fish all day. Speaking for myself: I probably missed about a dozen fish (my fault) and caught about 10 that were undersize - but the keepers were great fish and we brought home 19. Through it all Mr. Gresham was helpful and kept moving us from pile to pile and putting us 'on' the fish. His boat and the supplied fishing gear was first rate - but it was his knowledge of the Lake and just the fact he was a pleasure to fish with - that made the trip such a good time.
I am certain that there will be future visits to 'Nac' and they will include another fishing trip with Stanley Gresham. I recommend you do the same - you won't be disappointed.

Mr. Gresham worked his tail off for us today! The bite was slow but we found a few and had a great time! Mrs. Kay fed us good afterwards! Great folks running a jam up operation! 100% recommended!
Today I got to do something I've done ver few times, I took my dad fishing. We had a blast. A huge thank you goes out to Stanley Gresham and his sweet wife Kay Gresham. We took a group of customers for a ½ day crappie outing this morning with Stanley Gresham, and had an amazing lunch afterwards provided by Kay. I can’t express what an amazing experience these guys provided for us. The fishing was outstanding, but the way they welcomed us into their home with 5-star customer service, was like nothing I have ever seen on a guided fishing trip. Do not hesitate to book a fishing adventure with this family!
